Note for MASCHINE MK1, MASCHINE MIKRO MK1 and MASCHINE JAM users: please select FL Studio under Factory Templates instead of Mackie Control before you continue with the steps below. Using it as a Midi controller with Maschine 2.0. I got the buttons named, they just don’t function. Load the Mackie Control template from the Factory Template drop-down menu. Always good video’sThanks I got a question, I created several templates for pad scales ( A Major, A Minor, A Major ETC) How do I change 2 of the top buttons to reflect Octave Up and Octave Down.Open the Controller Editor application.Configuring the MASCHINE Controller for Host Transport Control I have a mac and the template on my controller editor and my Komplete Kontrol S25 mk1 doesn’t match, until yesterday everything worked fine, but today on my controller editor there’s the same template, with the name on the labels changed etc. That is, educative not judgemental. This article explains how to set up your MASCHINE controller to use the transport controls (play, stop, etc.) in FL Studio. April 2022 edited April 2022 in Komplete Kontrol. I sure appreciate you taking my comment in the spirit in which I meant it. It's difficult enough to convey meaning between persons of the same language when text is the medium, add translation from another language and it can be complex indeed. In case the target is to find our which VS-700 functionality can be mapped to Machine controls, I can "throw away" my comments, no problem (and less work) for me. If someone wants fully integrate Machine with Sonar, I am around to help with that. Sorry if my statement can be interpreted wrong. I have tried to encode Russian humor with English words, it looks like it does not work as expected. You are right, English is not my native language. For a contributor who confines himself to dealing with facts this seems rather thoughtless. Perhaps it's the fact that English is not your native language, but if you don't have anything positive to contribute why make a comment which seems in rather poor taste at the very least. Paleolithic methods to get staff are a bit outdated in 21 century Instead of "discovering" what something does, why not simply configure what you want it does? I will go and log one and visit the problem reports forums. I don't remember anybody coming up with a CWBRN number, I could be wrong. Is there a bug report or feature request filed? Maybe you could do a similar thing until we get a fix. As you mention it's frustrating to keep reconnecting devices. This ensures that by the time I start Sonar, things like Maschine and my Alphatrack are powered up and running. ![]() That's one reason why I power up many of my connected devices simultaneously, including powered speakers, audio device, powered USB hub and MIDI hub. When this happens you (more or less) have to repeat the steps all over again in #1, not only in Sonar but in Maschine Controller Editor as well. ![]() ![]() In Sonar we have the age old problem (I really wish this got fixed very frustrating !) whereby you can lose your settings in Preferences -> Control Services for whatever reason (often because you didn't have you controller switched on once for instance). But any idea what the other buttons are for? I can read what they say and guess what do they, but how do they work right now in Sonar? Questions questions questions. And above I notice that the select buttons (1 to 8) will select the tracks in my Sonar. ![]() It would be nice to see "Vox" and "Bass" instead taken from Sonar instead but I doubt I can make that happen. maybe somebody else may know the answer If I assign controller mode by holding shift plus channel, and then toggle with the lit up arrow buttons I can control the volume (etc) of the first 8 channels of my DAW with the 8 dials, which is pretty awesome! At the moment I can see channels 1 to 8, how can I see channels 9 to 16, 17 to 24 etc? I suspect the answer is no without creating another template in the controller editor software?, or maybe there's a toggle somewhere?Īlso I see "Channel 1", "Channel 2" etc. If anybody gets MIDI learn to work for VST synths please let me know how you did it. ![]()
